FOR YOUTH & FAMILIES

PJ Library provides free high-quality Jewish books and activities each month to more than 1,800 children ages 0 to 12 years in the Greater Houston area.

PJ Library is made possible through a collaborative between the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, the generosity of the Glesby family and private donors.

Meet Our PJ Library Engagement Manager

REBECCA LINDENBAUM

Rebecca has found her dream job as Federation’s PJ Library Community Engagement Manager. She loves connecting with families throughout the greater Houston area to help children and families engage with Judaism and with each other. She moved to Houston six years ago and found her forever home. She and her husband, Aaron, live in central Houston and have three children, Jonah, 7, Lily, 5, and Maya, 2.

Caryn Novello was born and raised in New York, has lived in four states and three countries, and is excited to call North Houston home.  She loves connecting with new families and building a stronger Jewish community in Houston.  Caryn lives in Tomball with her husband, their son, and newborn daughter. Caryn is excited to start building a close community of young families in North Houston and looks forward to meeting many new people along the way.

Ashley Ciotti is a Katy-native and Texas A&M University alumni and now lives in Fulshear with her husband, two children, and miniature dachshund. Ashley has cultivated lasting relationships through her time participating in Hillel at Texas A&M, and she is now involved in the West Houston Jewish Community Center by way of her children, who are enrolled in their early childhood program. When she isn’t schmoozing with friends old and new, Ashley enjoys the great outdoors, painting, and crafting. Ashley’s commitment to connecting with local Jewish families has allowed her to plant her roots and find her home in this ever-growing and very supportive West Houston community.

Diana Heights Connector Rotated

Diana Basist was born and raised in Los Angeles/ San Diego. After moving to Houston, it took some time, but she discovered the Heights, where she and her husband are raising their baby girl alongside their high energy Australian Shepherd. Diana’s journey with the Jewish Federation has spanned many life stages — from her involvement in Moishe House as a young professional, to FedU during her early relationship, and now as a PJ Library Connector while building her family. Each step has deepened her connection to Jewish life and community, and she is passionate about helping other families find those same meaningful opportunities. Diana is excited to meet and connect with Jewish families in the area, fostering a warm and welcoming community for all.
