Professional Networking Opportunities
OUR MISSION
The Jewish Federation’s Business & Professional (B&P) Group brings together dynamic Jewish women from across Greater Houston to build community, grow their networks, and make a difference. B&P offers a unique space where business networking and philanthropy meet. Members connect with like-minded peers, support each other’s careers, and strengthen our community. Through a series of networking breakfasts and programming throughout the year, B&P provides leadership opportunities, social action projects, and a chance to be inspired by the work of the Houston Federation and its partner agencies.
WHAT WE DO
Breakfast Meetings
• 7–8:30 AM, fourth Thursday of the month, alternating months at the Jewish Federation
• Includes breakfast, time to connect with fellow professionals, a speaker on topics relevant to business and Jewish life, and a chance to hear what’s new and exciting at the Federation
Social Events
• Held on non-meeting months
• Includes home gatherings of fun and creative activities, theater or music events, book fairs, and more
• Some events include a ticket or fee, and are not included in membership fees
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Active Members may participate in all Breakfast Meetings and Social Events and have the right and privilege to vote and to hold office on the Board of Directors.
$250 annually
Social Members may attend all Social Events and do not have the rights and privileges of Active Members.
This category is especially appropriate for retired professionals, individuals whose responsibilities preclude them from attending 7 AM meetings, or those who prefer to only join the social events. $150 annually
All members are encouraged to make a gift to the JewishFederation of Greater Houston’s Annual Campaign.

The Federation’s Commercial Real Estate Society is a networking and philanthropic group of Jewish professionals in the commercial real estate and affiliated industries. Our goal is to create networking and business development opportunities and to raise money to support the Federation and the Jewish community.
Our group includes employees of multifamily complexes, tenant representatives, developers and industries like insurance, brokers, appraisers, suppliers, developers, financial lenders, attorneys, and more.
Society membership requires each person to make an annual donation of $1,000 to our Annual Campaign.
