Israel Engagement
Jewish Federation of Greater Houston works to connect our community to Israel. We accomplish this by fostering relationships among community organizations, coordinating with existing Israel programs and events and providing direct educational resources to the entire community.
UNPACKED
We are partnering with OpenDor Media. Meeting all young Jews and their peers where they are with educational media that deepens their understanding of Israel, Judaism and the Jewish experience – embracing its complexities and fostering informed perspectives.
TEEN ISRAEL FELLOWSHIP
The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston is excited to partner with Unpacked. Through this partnership, we are able to offer a brand new Israel Leadership Fellowship for 10th-12th graders. This Israel Leadership Fellowship will bring together a diverse group of 10th- to 12th-grade students from various schools in the Houston community. This in-person fellowship serves as a platform for community building and equipping you with the necessary tools and knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations about Israel in your lives and prepares you for the antisemitism and anti-Zionism you will likely encounter on high school and college campuses.

Jewish Federation of Greater Houston’s Global Jewish Peoplehood Fund provides grants to programs and organizations that support and strengthen the people of Israel and the global Jewish community. Our goal is to support basic human needs, populations at risk, the promotion of Jewish identity and peoplehood, and strengthening of the connection to the state of Israel and the global Jewish community.
