Latkes with a Twist

Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS) will host its 4th Annual Greater Houston Hanukkah celebration, Latkes with a Twist, on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Previous celebrations have sold out, and this year’s party promises to be even bigger and better. The Washington Post has recognized the New Orleans Latkes with a Twist event, which is in its twelfth year, as one of the Top 10 Hanukkah parties in the United States.

A Night of Food, Music, and Celebration
HAMSA Modern Israeli Cuisine and SOF Hospitality will create a spectacular Latke Bar featuring traditional middle eastern and holiday offerings with creative toppings. The evening will also include music and a limited open bar with signature cocktails, wine, and beer.

All proceeds from Latkes with a Twist support JCRS’s need-based scholarship programs in the Greater Houston area, including grants for Jewish summer camp experiences, college aid, and assistance for children with special needs.
