At the heart of Jewish Federation of Greater Houston’s work, we prioritize our community’s physical and psychological safety and protect Jewish life in Houston, Israel, and around the world. We fight antisemitism through security trainings and safety consultations, through teen programming, through advocacy at the state and local levels, through educational trips, presentations, and conversations, and by working with our local and national agency partners.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston has convened ADL, AJC, Holocaust Museum Houston, Houston Hillel, and the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest to form the Houston Jewish community Antisemitism Roundtable. The Antisemitism Roundtable unites Houston’s leading Jewish organizations in a collaborative effort to prevent and combat antisemitism. Together, we share knowledge, align messages, and amplify each other’s work to advocate for the Jewish community. By coordinating resources, outreach, and responses, we ensure a unified, resilient approach to confronting hate and safeguarding our community.
