We Stand With Israel Response and Resources

We are continuing to provide immediate resources in partnership with Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), which has a 12-person team on the ground in Israel assessing immediate and long-term needs. Our local Israel Emergency Committee will work in partnership with JFNA and its strategic Rebuild Israel Task Force, which is comprised of 25 people representing all 141 Federations. Federation CEO Renée Wizig-Barrios is serving on as the representative for large-intermediate size Federations. Wizig-Barrios is also Co-Chair of the Rebuild Israel: Mental Health Working Group, along with Steve Greenbaum, a Federation lay leader from Chicago. The three working groups in the areas of Mental Health, Education, and Soldiers and their Families, will identify high impact opportunities to share with Federations to inform decision-making around the remaining funds of the Israel Emergency Campaign.
