Mensch Out Supports Federation & Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Appeal

May 04, 2020 – This May, the Jewish community is receiving an extra burst of support from the Mensch Out campaign. Three communications firms joined forces to create Mensch Out to help Jewish-owned and Jewish-run restaurants, retailers, and businesses which are struggling during the COVID-19 Stay Home, Work Safe order.

On Mondays, purchases go even further as many participating businesses have committed to donating 5-15% of their total Monday sales to the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston & Houston Jewish Community Foundation‘s COVID-19 Emergency Appeal.

This Emergency Appeal supports individuals, families, and Jewish agencies, which are facing financial uncertainty due to the economic situation created by COVID-19.

The idea for Mensch Out came from a list of Jewish businesses created by Martha Barvin, and the Jewish owned firms of Like Minds Communications , Integrate, and Tippit & Moo Advertising built the website and campaign to support the community.
