Preserving Our Past: The Houston Jewish History Archive at Rice University Presentation

In this talk on Sunday, March 29 at 10am, Dr. Joshua Furman, the founder and curator of the Houston Jewish History Archive at Rice University and also a lecturer in the Program in Jewish Studies, will talk about how the archive was started as a response to Hurricane Harvey in 2017. He will share information about the mission of the archive, what materials they collect, and how you can get involved. The talk will feature a slideshow of photographs and artifacts from the collection.
