Jewish Communities Day at the State: Legislative Mission to Austin

Join our Jewish community for a one-day advocacy mission to the Texas State Capitol. In partnership with the Jewish Federations of Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Tarrant County and San Antonio. We will travel to Austin to advocate and educate together on issues important to all of us. 

 

Program will include:

  • Meeting with the Governor*, Lt. Governor* and Speaker of the House*

  • Meeting in small groups with influential legislators

  • Advocacy issues will include:

    • Support for Israel

    • Support for local social services agencies

    • Access to quality early learning for all children
