The Brotherhood of Congregation Emanu El will host University of Houston political science professor Dr. Richard Murray on Wednesday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.
A highly regarded speaker and author on Texas and Houston politics, Dr. Murray will discuss the recently completed 2020 election cycle and the forthcoming 2022 cycle.
Dr. Murray’s academic interests are in Houston and Texas politics, focusing on campaigns and elections, political parties and interest groups and public opinion. He has written extensively in these areas.
Professor Murray has previously consulted in more than 200 political campaigns. He conducts polls for the Houston Chronicle, other media and local governments and is the political commentator for the local ABC affiliate, KTRK-TV, Channel 13.
