Help victims traumatized by terror

We’ve seen too many killed and so may more injured by random stabbing and shooting attacks on the streets of Israel.  Our partner the Jewish Agency for Israel has provided financial assistance to more than 100 individuals and families physically or emotionally affected by terror attacks since October as well as some twenty families who have lost loved ones in attacks. This aid totaling approximately $1 million is made possible by contributions from Jewish Federations of North America.

But the fund for the victims of terror is almost depleted.

Trapped Ukrainian Jews need food and fuel for heat

The conflict in Ukraine has made the 350,000 Ukrainian Jews the neediest Jews in the world. Thousands of families and elderly trapped in conflict zones or displaced by fighting rely on our partner agencies to deliver food, fuel, medicine and water. Some have been forced to flee embattled areas and have been provided safe haven by our partners.  Others have been able to received emergency home repairs due to damage from the conflict.  To date Jewish Federations have raised nearly $5 million in emergency funds for our partners.  Your federation raised has allocated $300,000 since the crisis began.

As the urgent needs continue to grow, we must not turn away.

Please join us in providing comfort for those whose lives are suddenly overturned by trauma. With your help we can ease their recovery and help them move on.
