The Teen Israel Ambassadors program is a two-year initiative for select 11th & 12th grade high school students. It empowers students to respond to the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic challenges they may face on college campuses. Through a series of sessions, students gain greater knowledge of Israel/Jewish history and current events and advocacy skills. Students learn from and work with local and national educators and organizations as well as with outside experts, such as noted Middle East and communications expert Neil Lazarus; and Gary Kenzer, North American CEO of Honest Reporting. Students are recommended through their school principals and youth group advisors for this two-year commitment.

Chalon L'atid is a new and exciting city-wide program funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston for middle school students at suburban synagogue religious schools. The goal of Chalon L'atid is to provide teens with the opportunity to participate in an innovative approach to Jewish education, designed to build a bridge between Bar and Bat Mitzvah training and High School. Chalon L'atid (aka 'Challah') provides exciting opportunities for students to meet and exchange ideas with teens from across the suburban Houston Jewish community and enables them to interact with other Jewish teens to learn more about themselves and explore their Jewishness with a community of their peers.
