Holocaust survivors Lottie and Howard Marcus, an unassuming couple who first settled in Great Neck, New York, and retired to a modest two-bedroom apartment in San Diego, California, bequeathed a half-billion dollars to Ben Gurion University in 2016 – the largest single charitable donation in Israel’s history. An amazing story of how two “ordinary” people made an extraordinary impact.
