Spread the Light: Join Our Houston Chanukah Project!
This Chanukah, we invite you to share the warmth and do a mitzvah for families and seniors in our community, as there are multiple meaningful ways to get involved.
You can help bring smiles to those in need by joining the Count Me In project helping Alexander Jewish Family Service (JFS) purchase gift cards for families in need, add joy to the lives of families by fulfilling JFS’s Amazon Holiday Wishlist, or truly brighten a child’s holiday by choosing to “adopt a kid” through Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS) and providing eight nights of special gifts.
Finally, everyone is welcome to join us for our festive Wrap Party where we’ll prepare all the gifts for delivery! Every act of generosity, big or small, helps spread the light and miracle of Chanukah.
Adopt a Child for Eight Nights of Gifts with JCRS: Through our partner, Jewish Children’s Regional Service, you can choose to “adopt” a child and provide them with eight small, thoughtful gifts to celebrate each night of Chanukah, ensuring their holiday is full of excitement.
Count Me In to help Alexander JFS Families: Alexander JFS will purchase gift cards to provide immediate and flexible support, allowing Alexander Jewish Family Service (JFS) families to purchase exactly what they need for the holiday season, from food to clothing, and more.
