Responding to Hatred is a presentation that aims to address the issue of antisemitism and culminates with an empowering suggestion of how we might effectively respond to antisemitism we come across in our own lives. This presentation is broken into three sections; identifying classical manifestations of antisemitism (both religious and racial conceptions), antisemitism that is related to Israel, and effective tools for responding to antisemitism.

Bio
Adam Blue graduated from Indiana University with his BA in history and Jewish studies. He worked as the StandWithUs Senior Midwest High School Coordinator from 2018-2021, based in Chicago. Prior to attending university, he spent a gap year in Israel where he studied in Jerusalem, and volunteered at a boarding school near Haifa. Whether as a teen leader, the President of Hillel at Indiana University, a legislative intern with the Indianapolis JCRC, a youth advisor in Chicago, or an assistant director at BBYO Passport, Adam has repeatedly exhibited his personal commitment to experiential education, community engagement, and leadership development.
