Beyond the Aleph Bet: The Virtual Directory for Adult Jewish Learning
The Bureau of Jewish Education has launched a new online directory for adult Jewish learning. As the title implies, the directory includes classes of Jewish interest that go beyond the simple teaching of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, in addition to classes that do just that.
SEARCH
The Search button allows users to search for classes subject area, by location, by sponsoring organization, by day of the week, or by time of day. Choices include one-time classes and programs, on-going classes, and scholar-in-residence programs.
ADD
The Add button allows synagogues, organizations and agencies to enter information about adult education offerings. The module is already populated with basic information about each organization, so entering class information is simplified.
