Educate   Advocate   Support

The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston is an organization of our community, for our community, because it takes volunteers and donors just like you to make sure Jews in Houston, Israel and around the world thrive.  Federation is YOU!

HERE'S HOW YOU HELP!

Through the Federation’s Bureau of Jewish Education, we work with Jewish teachers and students to ensure that every child receives a quality Jewish Education.

The Federation’s Community Relations Committee works everyday to Advocate on the community’s behalf, to make sure that important Houston Jewish community issues are known to the officials who create the laws in city hall, in Austin and in Washington, D.C.

Perhaps the largest part of the Federation’s mission is to Support organizations and agencies in Houston, Israel and in 60 countries around the world that make up our Jewish community. We do this by raising money for the Annual United Jewish Campaign.

You’ve just scratched the surface of your Federation. Take a few minutes to explore our website for more detailed information about these programs and others such as our Young Adults Division, the Houston Jewish Community Foundation  and information about what’s happening in the rest of the community, locally and globally.

This is your Federation and we’re here to help you. If you need us, here’s how to Talk to Us.
