“ In the first hours there was nothing, no fear or sadness, no thought or memory, just a black and perfect silence.”
      These words were stated by Nando Parrado, featured guest speaker at Men’s Nite Out 2008 sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston. The dinner is set for Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Westin Galleria Hotel, 5060 West Alabama, and will be remembered as a milestone event.
     Attendees will experience a departure from the traditional sports theme. Author, motivational speaker, and survivor Nando Parrado will offer an incredible story of survival and determination. Men’s Nite Out co-chairs are Richard, Bryan, and Neville Leibman, Arthur Schechter, Hedley Karpas, and Alan Rosen.
