The Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest, a branch of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, represents the Israeli government in Houston, as well as the southwestern United States.  It deals with such matters as passports, economic programs, business, burials, diplomacy, and cultural exchange.  In addition, the Consulate provides information and speakers on all facets of Israeli life.
