The Bureau of Jewish Education is the central community agency for coordination, planning, and service to professionals, volunteers, and institutions engaged in all aspects of Jewish education.  The Bureau conducts training programs for Jewish educators, maintains and publishes educational materials, provides financial assistance for educators and students to attend educational programs, and annually sponsors the Summer Teen Pilgrimage to Israel.  The BJE is a department of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston and a beneficiary of the community's Annual United Jewish Campaign.
